Fahey-Spurlock Donna E. (Gray) Fahey-Spurlock, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Worthington, Ohio, went to be with Our Lord and Savior on Friday May 11, 2017. Donna was Born on October 4, 1943 in Fairview, Oklahoma to the late Donald and Katherine (Booton) Gray. On June 30 1965 she married Laurence J. Fahey in Del City, Oklahoma and who preceded her in death August 1976. On November 7, 1992 she married Richard H. Spurlock and who preceded her in death February 2017. Donna is survived by daughter, Cynthia (Kevin) Hill of Marion, Ohio; son, Kennan (Lianna) Fahey of Indianapolis, Indiana; son, Brian (Aimee) Fahey of Westerville, Ohio; daughter, Shawna Fahey (Eric Grosscup) of Westerville, Ohio; a brother, Louis (Vicky) Gray of Texas; and nine grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by an infant daughter Monica K. Fahey. Donna grew up in Del City where she graduated Del City High School in 1962. A naturally compassionate woman, she became a Registered Nurse. She was dedicated to helping people and cared for seriously ill parents. Eventually she went into Critical Care Nursing. She previously had been employed with Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grant Medical Center in Columbus Ohio in the cardiac Intensive/Critical Care Units. She retired in 2007. Donna's life was her family. She dedicated her life to them and sacrificed much so that they would succeed in life. She made sure that her family had a loving home. She also made special effort to include involvement with their grandparents. She was an avid reader and especially loved her romance novels. She also enjoyed crochet having made many blankets and clothing for her loved ones. She also took pleasure in gardening and had pride in her roses. In her retirement Donna and Richard relaxed by reading, gardening, traveling and on many occasions - went on cruises with Lou and Vicki. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 18 2017, 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio. Rev. Fr. David Qwinner, Celebrant.
