Rev. Edson Taft "Bill" Lewis Jr.

Lewis Rev. Edson "Bill" Taft Lewis Jr., age 89, passed peacefully into Glory, family at his side, on January 25, 2017. Survived by wife Joanne (Yff); children, Joan, Mark and wife Denise, Todd and wife Linda, Jill, Rachel and husband Jason; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Ellens) and Clyde; and many nieces, nephews. We will miss Bill's presence in our lives more than words can say. He was known at home and in the community as a man who loved mercy, sought justice and walked humbly with God. He was with Martin Luther King, Jr. at the "I Have A Dream" speech and the Selma-Montgomery March.
