BOWMAN Ernest E. Bowman, "Earl", of Whitehall, passed away at home on August 22, 2011. Earl was born to the late Clifford and Vadie (Alfery) Bowman on March 3, 1938 in Pelfery, KY. His brother, Virgil, also precedes him in death. Earl started his career in construction before settling in and retiring from Groveport Schools as a Bus Driver. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Mertie; sons, Dwight, Ernie, Kenneth, Russell, and John Bowman; daughters, Kristina Bailey, Cheryl Pennington; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grand-children; brothers, William, Chalmer, Clayton and Ronnie; sisters, Barbara and Bonnie. A visitation will be held at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, on Thursday, August 25, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service and entombment will follow at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster.
