Ethel Mae Fisher, 87, died on January 22, 2018 after a very long fight with Alzheimer's. Ethel was born in Cooper Township, Clearfield County, PA, on March 27, 1930. Ethel was the daughter of the late Edgar and Elva E. Folmar. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Grace Conway, Alma Merrell and her brothers Karl and Maynard Folmar. Ethel is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Fisher, with who she had celebrated their 17 years of marriage; her son, Dennis (Kim) Blunt; grandchildren, Katie Blunt (Joel Walker), Jillian (Ben) Wheat, and Paige (Pax) Liptak; her great-grandchildren, Connor and Emma Wheat; stepdaughters, Joan (Bernard) Ryznar and Julie (Michael) Shrigley; sisters, Ruth Gurbal of Clearfield, PA, Betty Hotching of Beech Creek, PA, Bonnie (Marsh) Wisoh of Mineral Springs, PA; brothers, Clark and Neil Folmar of Curwenville, PA; sister-in-law, Lois Folmar of State College; brother-in-law, Crev Merrell of Danville, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230, where a visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28 from 1-3pm with a funeral service at 3pm officiated by Chaplain Beth Van Sickle. Burial will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215 or , 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
