Puckett Evelyn Mae (Bowen) Puckett, age 84, of Plain City, formerly of Columbus and Dublin, passed away peacefully Thursday morning January 30, 2014 at Heartland of Marysville after and extended illness. Born February 1, 1929 in Columbus. Worked for Joyce Shoe Factory for 17 years, former employee of the Dublin School system. Member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Plain City. She enjoyed crafts and going to antique shows. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Neva (Counch) Bowen, sisters Doris Bowen, Mildred Bowen, brothers Stanley Bowen, Charles Bowen, grandson Steven Bentley. Survived by loving husband of 61 years, Everett Puckett; daughter, Patricia Puckett Bentley of Warsaw, IN; grandson, Michael (Tammy) Bentley; granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Bentley; great-grandchildren, Ashley Bentley, Zachary Bentley, Leighann Bentley, Breanna Bentley. The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating and burial Darby Township, Unionville Center.
