Felix Pedon, age 86, passed away on March 3, 2018 in the loving presence of family members following a lengthy struggle with Lewy Body Syndrome & Parkinson's Disease. He was married to Katie Brush from 1950-1973 and was Maître D' at the Desert Inn Supper Club Aztec Room from 1961-1968, when he obtained his real estate license absd joined the J. Elmer Redd Realty Company. Felix continued in real estate sales and management with HER Realtors until his retirement in 2004. During his career, he earned awards for $1, $5, $10 & $25 million in sales. Felix co-founded and was President of the Bexley-Eastmoor-Berwick Realtors Association. He also served 5 years as a Director for the Columbus Board of Realtors and was Chairman of the Membership Committee. The Columbus Board honored him as the 1977 Realtor Associate of the Year. He was subsequently selected by the Ohio Association of Realtors as the 1979 Realtor Salesman of the Year for the State of Ohio. In 2006, Felix received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Columbus Board of Realtors. A lifelong sports fan, Felix coached all sports at St. Catharine School during the 60's to the early 70's and was honored as the Catholic Diocese Coach of the Year in both 1970 and 1971. He enjoyed staying active with tennis and golf and delighted in watching his beloved Buckeyes play football and basketball. In 1977, Felix became one of the proud owners of The Old Mohawk restaurant, a culinary landmark in German Village. Over the years, family and friends were fortunate to enjoy many meals and celebrations with him at The Old Mohawk. Felix belonged to the Bexley Lions Club and was a long-time member of the Bexley-Whitehall Rotary Club where he was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow. He also served on the Board of Directors at the Institute for Human Services from 1990-2011. In later years, he became a devoted "Dog Father" to his 4-legged fuzzy "children", Maggie, Obie, Abbey and Hadley. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary (Sassano) Pedon and Carmen "Gyp" Pedon, his sister Christina (Pedon) Langston and brother-in-law Jerry Langston. Felix is survived by Sally (Thomas/Ensign), his wife of 41 years; sons Mike, Dean (Irene Ayoub), Tim (Amelia), Chris (Tammy) & Ryan (Stephanie) & daughter Amy (Reggie) Kremer; grandchildren, Kacie Nahvi, Stephen, Logan, Anders, Noah and Maddox Pedon and Ryder and Finley Kremer. Also surviving Felix are his niece, Lisa (Langston) DiNucci; grand-niece, Crestina DiNucci; and grand-nephew, Dante DiNucci. Calling hours will be Thurs, March 8 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Maeder Quint Tiberi Funeral Home, 1068 South High. A burial Mass will be held Friday morning, March 9, 10am at St. Catharine Church, 500 South Gould Road. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Dan Dury, celebrant.
