Finley L. Ryan, Jr. Fin was born February 17, 1933 to Dorothy Smith Ryan and Finley L. Ryan Sr. In Harlem Springs, Ohio. He died July 2, 2017 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus, from lung cancer. His survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marilyn; son, Lee of Grandview; daughter, Jane Sen Gupta (Mark); and granddaughter, Kathryn Sen Gupta, of Houston, TX; brother, James (Norma) of Blacklick; sisters, Elsie Shortland of Carrolton, and Ellen (Richard) Dinger of Minerva, OH; brothers-in-law, Don Cameron, Jr. (Mary) of Powell, and Bruce Cameron (Martha) of Upper Arlington; and many nephews, nieces, grand nieces and nephews. His church family is the Columbus Church of Christ. Fin graduated from Wintersville High School, 1951, Ohio University, 1960. He attended Capital Law School. In the U.S. Army , he was a paratrooper in the Korean War. Fin was a geologist for the State of Ohio, a title searcher with Cameron and Cameron LPA, and for the Franklin County Prosecutor. He was active in Worthingon politics for many years. A military honor service, and family and friends gathering will be July 29, at Antrim Park in Worthington, OH. Pastor Bob Shanks will officiate. 2 Cornthians 5:17
