DAVIS Gerald Edward Davis Sr., age 72, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Grant Medical Center. Born February 14, 1940 in Bedford, VA to the late Richard C. and Josephine Hairston Davis. Former transportation driver for the American Red Cross. Also preceded in death by special aunt and uncle Charles and Rowena Hairston, brothers. Survived by children, Genevieve (Alvin) Hubert, Cheryl Andrews, Gerald E. (Princess) Jr., Monique Davis and Claudine (Bayne) O'Grady; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family will recieve friends Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO., 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH 43207.
