Holtsberry Grace Evelyn Holtsberry, age 93, passed away May 3, 2014 at Mount Carmel Saint Ann's Hospital, Westerville, OH. Born in Desota, Mississippi on March 18, 1921 to the late John and Verna Grace Hollyfield. Grace was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory High School, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. A member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church for over 65 years, where she was one of the original and founding charter members. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Harold B. Holtsberry, sisters Thelma (Stanley) Bell and Sara Golding, brother Robert (Jane) Hollyfield and brother-in-law Guido Augustine. Grace is survived by her children, Nancy (John F.) Webb, Paul B. (Jenny) Holtsberry, William J. (Debbie) Holtsberry and Laura Holtsberry; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grand-children; sister, Catherine Augustine; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, in the Long Funeral Home, 5528 Cleveland Avenue (one block south of SR 161), Columbus, OH. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4383 E. Broad Street and Yearling Road, Columbus, OH. Rev. Fr. William L. Arnold, celebrant. Interment Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, OH. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014. Deacon Carl Calcara, presiding. The family wishes to thank the staff of Feradine Commons, Columbus Colony and St. Ann's Palliative Care Unit, for the tender and loving care shown to our mother and grandmother during her illness.
