Broadhurst Gregory Edward Broadhurst, age 66, born 7-17-1947, passed away of natural causes on March 3, 2014 at his home in Athens, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents E. Carl and Louise K. Broadhurst. Survived by brother Jeff Broadhurst of McKinney, TX; sisters, Megan (Sam) Garner of Marysville, OH, Pam (Marty) DeLille of Reynoldsburg, OH, Sherry Steinberg of Royal Palm Beach, FL; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friend ElizaBeth Amoriya. Gregory was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in Viet Nam. A graduate of Ohio University, he loved to travel and enjoyed working as an interpreter with the U.S. Park Service. His passion for environmental causes and community activism was well regarded. A man of widespread experience and knowledge, he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. A celebration of life in the manner of Friends will be held on Saturday March 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Quaker Meeting House, 22 Birge Dr. in Chauncey, Ohio 45719.
