In 1978 he founded Medical Plaza Pharmacy, the inaugural store for Mediserv Pharmacies (1981), which at its peak operated seventeen pharmacies across central Ohio. Greg was also a former director of the Beulah Park Jockey Club, where he was an avid and talented horse racer. He served on several advisory boards and was a member of many notable institutions, including the Phi Gamma Delta Alumni Association, American Pharmacists Association, OSU Alumni Association and President's Club, Cardinal Health, and Wedgewood Golf and Country Club. Greg is preceded in death by his grandparents Isidor and Amalie (Baierschmidt) Rathgeb and Ralph and Hazel (Mulby) Garner, his parents Ralph and Evelyn (Rathgeb) Garner, beloved brother, Gary Garner, uncle David Garner, and half-brother Ralph Garner III. Greg married Symphony Circone (Fitzpatrick) in 1987, and is survived by their daughters, Alexandra and Aubry Garner; as well as nephews, Brent and Christopher; niece, Makenzie; and several great nieces and nephews.
