Harriett Ann (Fagan) O'Farrell Obituary
O'Farrell (Fagan), Harriett Ann
1924 - 2017
Harriett Ann (Fagan) O'Farrell, 93, passed away peacefully October 14, 2017. Harriett's new journey takes her to a wonderful place where she will be cooking, gardening and reading to her heart's content. She will be reunited with her husband of 55 years Joe, who she saved a seat for on the school bus everyday so they could sit next to each other, now he has saved a seat for her, and her son Tim will have the seat on the other side reunited with his mom. Harriett has made a difference in all of our lives with her wit, kindness, and love and she will be dearly missed, as will her deviled eggs, pasta salad and Christmas cookies that only she could make just right. She was the strongest woman we knew who beat heart disease, cancer, and anything else that came her way. She was born on March 5, 1924 to Francis and Bessie (Darsham) Fagan in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Holy Family School and attended St. James the Less Parish. She is preceded in death by brothers Robert, Frank and Jimmy Fagan, sister Margaret Fagan. She is survived by her loving daughter, Joann Wise and her husband, John Wise; daughter-in-law, Blanche O'Farrell; grandchildren, Kelly Wise Thomas, Dave, Jason (Shawna), and Sarah Wise (Mark Klein), Crystal and Joe O'Farrell; 14 great grandchildren; sister, JoEllen (Larry) Hughes; brother-in-law, Earnest (Betty) O'Farrell. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St. James the Less Parish, 1652 Oakland Park Ave. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Kobacker House. Visit her guest book at www.schoedinger.com.
