Obituary Condolences

Panovska Ilinka Panovska, mother of seven, grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 21, passed away peacefully, at home, on March 29, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. She was 95. She was the youngest of five daughters born to Marko and Dosta Sekulovski in the village of Brusnik, Macedonia. At age 17, she married Vasil Panovski and moved to Orehovo, Macedonia, where they lived until emigrating to the United States in 1972. She was schooled by the village priests at a time when educating young girls was not the norm. As a result, not only was she literate, she was exceptionally smart and clever in large part due to her life-long love of reading. She had a sharp sense of humor and a kind, generous heart. A devout Christian, she believed in God and was ready to go home, to be reunited with her husband of over 50 years, Vasil, her parents, her sisters Aleksandra, Mara, Zoya and Velika, her daughter-in-law Vesna, her son-in-law Boris and countless other loved ones who predeceased her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Olga (Risto) Kusovski, Ljubica (Dusan) Bakalovski, Kosta Panovski, Millie Eftimoff, Blagoj (Dragica) Panovski, Spasija (Jovan) Docovski, Liljana (Dimitar) Petrov; her grandchildren, Boris (Mary) Kusovski, Snezana Bow, Liljana (Ljupco) Anastasovi, Ratko (Bile) Bakalovski, Toni (Jennifer) Panovski, Tatjana (Sasko) Dzamov, Kathy (Bill) Milenkovski, Elizabeta (Philip) Saken, Hristina (Paul Rentler) Panovska, Aleksandra Panovska, Beti (Oliver) Nocevski, Marina (Igor) Lekoski, Angela Petrova, and Katerina (Lazar) Grkov; and her great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Christopher Kusovski, Jessica, Jacqueline and Teddy Bow, Petar and Aleksander Anastasovi, Ilija Bakalovski, Sienna Panovski, Michael, Ava and Sabrina Milenkovski, Aleksander, Kristofer and Lukas Saken, Josephine Rentler, Nicholas Nocevski, Dimitri and Angelina Lekoski, and Vincent and Isabella Grkov. Friends may call at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43227 on Sunday, April 2, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, April 3, 10 a.m., St. Mary Macedonian Orthodox Church, 400 S. Waggoner Road, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
