Irving M. Modes. The Yeshiva University laments the passing of Irving M. Modes z'l, a highly respected member of the Columbus Jewish community, the cherished husband of Judy; and father of their son, Rabbi Yosef (and Dena) Modes; and their daughter, Sarah (and Tim) Davis; brother of Stuart (and Tari) Modes, and Sonia Modes Schottenstein; and brother-in-law of her late revered husband, Saul Schottenstein z"l. Sonia Modes Schottenstein was the sister-in-law of the late Jerome Schottenstein z"l and is the sister-in-law of Geraldine Schottenstein. Sonia Schottenstein is the aunt of Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein, Susan and Jon Diamond, Ann and Ari Deshe and Lori Schottenstein, who are all Benefactors of Yeshiva University. Heartfelt condolences are extended to the entire Modes and Schottenstein families. May the memory of Irving M. Modes be bound in the bond of eternal life and may the extended Modes and Schottenstein Family be comforted among those who mourn for Zion and Jerusalem.
