Johnson, James
James Lee Johnson, 72, of Lewis Center, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 28, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Joseph and Josephine (Dunn) Johnson. A hard worker, Jim retired from American Aggregates after many years of driving truck. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Amy (Ken) Wallace of Sunbury, Jodie (Joey) Rawlins of Lewis Center and James (Janelle) Johnson Jr. of Plain City; step-children, Aleshia (Tom) Weisend of Westerville, Scott Henderson of Marion, Stacey Henderson of Marion, and Ginger (Tim) King of Sunbury; numerous grandchildren and one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Kim (Johnny) Wilson of Stockport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years Ellen Mae Johnson, granddaughter Emily Johnson and 2 brothers Robert and Charles Johnson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 2-5 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware, where funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Marvin Hintz officiating. Burial will follow in Africa Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Delaware County Veterans Association. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses of Mt.
