HENDRICKS James Winfield Hendricks, age 85, of Pataskala, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. Born August 18, 1926 to the late William and Hattie (Sayre) Hendricks, he is preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law Carol and Ron Kitchen and brothers Robert Hendricks and William Hendricks. James is survived by wife, of 67 years, Mary (McClory) Hendricks; daughters, Teresa (Robert) Edwards, Linda Quinlan, Barbara (Dennis) Berry, and Janet (Steve) Gomez; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; two great-great-grand-children; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Local 189 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and enjoyed traveling, woodcarving, fishing, and rock collecting. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. (St Route 256), Pickerington, with Deacon Hector Raymond officiating.
