Cartledge Janet Marie (Whitlow) Cartledge sunrise October 21,1933 sunset August 28,2013. Born in Charleston, W. VA. Attended Garnet High School. Moved to Columbus, OH in 1965. Former member of Shadygrove Church Of Christ. Former member of Cornerstone Pentacost Chruch. Member of New Covenant Believers Church. Teacher of school on Sunday seventh and eighth grades. Reporter on visionary magazine. Preceded by parents Charles and Gladys Whitlow, husband Otis Cartledge, six siblings, three brothers, Norris,Lawerance and James Whitlow; three sisters, Helen Childs, Betty Brooks Phillis Whitlow, Margaret Jackson. Survived by four sons, Phillip Whitlow Atlanta, GA.,Michael (Whitlow) Charles (Donza) Brooks, Robbie (Roberta) Whitlow, All of Columbus, 12 grandchildren,22 great-grandchildren,and three great-great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. Service will be held at New Covenant Believers Church on Friday at 11 a.m. visitation 10-11 a.m. Bishop Howard Tillman Eulogist. Solo by Sister Hope singing Walk Around Heaven all day. Arrangements intrusted to CALIMAN FUNERAL SERVICES, 3700 Refugee Rd.
