Jerry Lee Starlin

STARLIN Jerry Lee Starlin, age 40, of Groveport, Oh., formerly of Little Hocking, Oh., passed away October 15, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. He was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., on September 12, 1968, a son of Harley K. and Betty J. Watson Starlin of Little Hocking. Jerry was employed for over 10 years with the Eastland Career Center in Columbus, Oh. He was a member of TKE Fraternity and the Porterfield Baptist Church. Jerry enjoyed the Ohio State Buckeyes, motorcycling, hunting, music, playing guitar, and eating out "good food and friends". In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Jill Starlin and fiance, Joe Dennis of Vincent, Oh.; niece, Cassie Dennis of Vincent, Oh.; aunts and uncles, Jim and Frances Starlin, Mary and Andy Grayson, Sam and Sharon Watson, Mary Putnam and Toni Shutts; close friends, Dillon, Joe, Josh, Scott, Aaron, Craig and Melvin; and his second family, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his baby sister Brenda Diane Starlin, grandparents Dwight and Delma Starlin and Melvin and Eleanor Watson. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, at the LAMBERT-TATMAN FUNERAL HOME, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Oh. with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Oh. The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
