Joan Jordan Obituary
Jordan Joan Jordan, age 88, passed away on March 15, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 15, 1928 in Logan, Ohio to the late, Paul and Florence (Schader) Ucker. Joan was a devoted and loving wife, mom, grandma and memaw who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She was a second mom to many and always helped those in need. She worked in the banking industry, at Senese Services and Cheryl's. Joan was a proud and a devout member of St. Matthias Catholic Church for over 60 years. She and her loving husband, Roy, were proud to live for over 60 years on Estates Place. Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her brother Paul Ucker, grandson Ronald Close, great-grandchildren Liam Esterly and Bailey Schiefelbein. Surviving are loving husband of 68 years, Roy A. Jordan; children, Cindy (Ronald) Close, Jeffrey (Kristi) Jordan and Laura (Thomas) Martin; grandchildren, Cristy (Anthony) Seely, Erica (John) Esterly, Ashley Close, Scott Jordan, Rachel Jordan, Thomas Martin, Matthew Martin and Taylor Martin; great-grandchildren, Ronald Seely, Riley Seely, Abigail Seely, Natalie Esterly, Alexander Esterly and Baylor Schiefelbein; brother, James Ucker; sisters, Bernadine Frasure, Mary (Charles) Slusher and Irene Ucker; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Entombment to follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio.
