Chenko Johnny Lee Chenko, 70, Columbus, OH, died of lung and heart complications at Mt. Carmel W Hospital on March 18, 2017. He was born on November 13, 1946 to John and Eldean (Ayers) Chenko. He is survived by his sisters, Sarah (Chris) Chenko of Hilliard, OH, Susan (Roger) Scott of VA, Yollan (Sam) Little of Columbus, OH, and Sigrid Weiss of Germany. Johnny enjoyed family gatherings with his nieces and nephews: Erica Chenko, Lisa (Chris) Jolley, Tiffany Bowers, James (Bernadine) and Jason Sheets, Lori (Brad) Pikkaart, and Alexander and Gerhard; and loved hearing about his great nieces and nephews: Nora and Chloe Jolley, Megan and Bethany Pikkaart, James and Jacob Sheets, Eva and Kylee Sheets, and Marie and Leni Weiss. Johnny had a special place in his heart for Aunt Marge Oberleitner and looked forward to speaking with her weekly. Johnny loved listening to music, attending all of the families' celebrations, going to classic cars shows, eating his favorite foods, riding Schwinn bikes, and watching parades and fireworks. He was the funniest and most friendly man you could ever meet. Visitation will be held at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Thursday, March 23, 4-7 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Share memories at www.orwoodyard.com
