DiPietro Joseph L. DiPietro, age 71, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Kobacker House. He was born on September 8, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of Columbus. He graduated from Bishop Watterson High School and from the Nationwide School of Cosmetology. He was co-owner of Dibela Salon and a hairstylist for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Margaret DiPietro; brothers, Richard and Fred DiPietro; sister, Renetta (DiPietro) Bernabei; and his first wife, Margarett. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Brenda; son, Mark DiPietro; step-son, Tom Waid; sisters-in-law, Molly DiPietro and Linda DiPietro; special friends, Larry and Susan Beverly; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., on Monday, March 25, 2013, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m., until time of Mass. Private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Joe may be made to Kobacker House (HomeReach Hospice) 180 E. Broad St., Columbus (43215).
