Ruger Judith Fay Ruger, age 83, of Dublin, OH, passed away September 12, 2012 at her home while comforted by the love and presence of family. Judith was born August 19, 1929 in Jersey City, NJ, to Mary (nee Donnelly) and George T. Fay. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joan Sullivan, her brother Paul Fay, and Joseph V. Ruger, her loving husband of nearly 48 years. Judith is survived by her brother, George (Marselle) Fay of Fairfax, VA; daughters, Catherine (Richard) Levins of Dublin, OH, Mary-Elizabeth (Kenneth) Foulks of Middletown, NJ and Janet (Jeffrey) Rittershofer of Bel Air, MD; grandchildren, Kathleen, Christopher, John and Margaret Levins of Dublin, OH, Matthew, Kenneth and Michael Foulks of Middletown, NJ and Erin, Annie and Colin Rittershofer of Bel Air, MD. Having grown up in Brooklyn, and graduated from Catherine McAuley High School, Judith worked for 17 years as an executive assistant on Wall Street. After marrying Joseph, they moved from Bay Ridge in 1970 and lived in Sea Girt, NJ until 2007. She was a communicant of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church in Dublin, OH since 2007, St. Mark Catholic Church, Sea Girt, NJ for 38 years prior, and was raised and schooled in Our Lady Help of Christians, Brooklyn, NY. Always a volunteer in parish and school activities, Judy also worked for local printing, insurance and accounting firms in the Sea Girt/Spring Lake area for many years. Known as a diehard, tried and true sports fan (especially of the NY Mets), she will be remembered by her family, friends and caregivers for her unfailing faith in God, devotion to Our Lady, her deep love of family, and her inspiring strength and unwavering sense of humor in the face of illness and suffering. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her so much. Family received friends Monday, September 17, 2012 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Sea Girt, which was immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment took place later that day at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
