Judith Kunczewski Kienle was called home by our Creator and Almighty Father on April 4, 2018. Judy's passing was preceded by her parents Henry and Mildred Kunczewski. Judy is survived by her husband, Peter Kienle of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Henry Kunczewski and his wife, Tess of Henderson, NV; sister, Marilyn and her husband, Bob Davis of Athens, TX; son, Brian Kienle and his wife, Liz and granddaughters, Cora and Kya of Powell, OH; son, Dr. Mark Kienle of Philadelphia, PA; step-son, Earl and Lisa Masterson, daughter, Morgenne; and "step-son", Tom and Leyla Zickau, and their daughters, Frankie and Anastasia. Further, she is survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law who loved her dearly and were privileged to call her sister, and she is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Judy was born on January 9, 1948 in Export, PA. She attended Franklin Regional High School and graduated from Waynesburg College with a BA in Psychology. She received her Master's Degree in Public Health Administration from The University of Pittsburgh. Throughout her life, Judy has lived in Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus, OH, Raleigh, NC, and Virginia Beach, VA. Judy had a distinguished career in the field of public health for many years, but her love for business and interaction with people lead her into the field of Marketing Consulting. What followed was the marriage to her soulmate, Pete Kienle. She founded Kienle Communications Inc., which gave both of them the opportunity to combine their talents and grow their marketing consulting business into a highly successful and sought-after enterprise. She was a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) with the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Judy frequently wrote articles and taught throughout the country, including continuing education programs at The Ohio State University and she served as an Adjunct Professor of Health Sciences at Stratford University, Virginia Beach campus. Also, she was an Associate editor for the Dublin, OH history book called Dublin's Journey, published in 2004. When living in the Columbus, OH area, she was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church. Judy and Pete were active members of Haygood United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach. Judy volunteered with Pete at the Military Aviation Museum also of Virginia Beach. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 9 at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, Central Chapel, 403 E. Broad St. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne, OH. Private interment later at St. Joseph Cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations may be made to the in Judy's name.
