Leeann Faust Obituary
Faust, Leeann
1940 - 2017
With her eternal North High School Polar Bear spirit, Leeann Kaye Faust left this world on Saturday morning, November 18, 2017 at age 77. She battled heart issues on her terms, and then said she was ready to meet in Heaven with her parents Harold and Alice Faust. Leeann left us during a peaceful night's sleep after weeks of visits and well wishes from her adoring family and friends, who meant the world to her. Leeann is preceded in death by her dear cousins Bob and Dick Fulton, Carol Graham Fulton, and David and Noel Pallas. Leeann was a proud 1958 Columbus North High school graduate! She then attended Columbus Art School and worked at Columbus Mutual Life Insurance Company, before joining the family business, Faust Service Company. Upon her father's retirement, she became the memorable owner of Faust Service Company for many years. She was a talented artist, a big scrapbooking fan, and loved genealogy, photography and cooking. She was an animal lover and a one time breeder of white toy poodles. Leeann loved the theatre, and, as national president of the Carol Lawrence Fan Club for more than 20 years, she touched lives around the world and became inseparable sister-like friends with Carol. Their friendship had endured for 40-plus years! Leeann served on the board of the Clintonville Historical Society, was the current vice president of the North High Women's Alumni Association (NHWAA), and was historian and alumni choir manager for the Polar Bear Alumni Association (PBAA). As editor of the PBAA "Roars" newsletter, Leeann had a devoted following of admiring alumni from around the country. She was an energetic superstar organizer of the PBAA "North on the Fourth" open house. Her fellow Polar Bears and anyone who knew Leeann admired her constantly cheerful attitude and desire to help anyone she could. Leeann enjoyed attending Mountview Christian Church in Upper Arlington, where she was once the church historian. Leeann is survived by her loving nieces, Shari Fulton and Cindy Fulton Dean, Tami Pallas Wetzel, Linda Fulton Fuchs and Susie Fulton Light; nephew, Chris Pallas; as well as her cherished "Alaska Family," including cousin, Loreen; nephew, Jason Pallas; and nieces, Jennifer Pallas and Nicole Pallas Nothstine. She is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews, countless precious friends, and her darling cat, Bonnie. A service celebrating Leeann's life will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at Mountview Christian Church, 2140 Fishinger Rd at 12 pm. Family will receive friends beginning at 11 am and also following the service. Happy colors and polar bear attire are highly recommended for this celebration. Donations, if desired, can be made to the Polar Bear Alumni Association (PBAA) or the North High Women's Alumni Association (NHWAA). Arrangements by Schoedinger Northwest Chapel.
