Lilda M. Delewese, 100, died peacefully February 2, 2018 at Sunrise at the Scioto. Born October 9, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Josephine Delewese, siblings Marty (Frances), Amelia Ramey, Flora (Michael) Chilli, Geno (Erma), Neno (Ann), Antonio, Gloria Carifa, Jean Delewese, nephew Bill Stephens. Life long member of St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 33 year employee of Franklin County, member of Phi Beta Sigma Sorority, Guild Athletic Ladies Auxiliary (GALA), Sts. Peter and Paul Guilds 9 & 13, St. Margaret Young at Heart Club, and past member St. John's Italian Festival Committee. Survived by nieces and nephews, Jo Marie (Jess) Wilson, Ermagene (Donald) Kelly, Marijo Green, Jessanna Delewese, Gloria Jean Stephens, Dr. Sam (Linda) Carifa, Gina (Wayne) Fulk and Mark (Barbara) Carifa and brother-in-law, Dr. Ralph Carifa; great nieces and nephews, Andrea (Anthony) Bonacci, Meghan Green, Joseph (Kathy) Wilson, Elizabeth and Jessica Kelly, Monica (Michael) Travis, Daniel Moraine, Tyler, Alex and Austin Carifa, Adam and Dominic Carifa, Matt (Andi) Fulk, Michael Fulk; great-great nieces and nephews, Logan and Carmen Bonacci, Sebastian and Jacob Wilson and Kayden Carifa. She will also be missed by cousins and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 7, 3-7:30PM at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St., Columbus. Prayer service at 4PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, February 8 at 10AM, St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 1600 North Hague Ave. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret of Cortona Church or Capital City Hospice.
