Linda DeFrancisco Taylor, age 73, resident of Bluffton, SC and former long-time resident of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017 surrounded by immediate family at Hilton Head Hospital. She was preceded in death by brother Fred DeFrancisco, mother Louise Lucas, father Nicholas DeFrancisco, step-father Donald Lucas, grandson Connor Hill, nephew Bradley Royer and other dearly beloved family members. Linda was born in 1944 in Columbus, OH and received a Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University. She retired after over 30 years as the Director of Dietary services for a long-term care facility in the Columbus area. She and her husband fulfilled their dream of moving South and settled in the Bluffton area. Most recently she was a volunteer with Bluffton/Jasper Volunteers in Medicine. Linda was a dedicated fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a devoted Catholic and active member of her local Catholic church. In addition to being an avid golfer, she enjoyed walking her dog Jax around the neighborhood and socializing with her many neighborhood friends. Linda is survived by her husband, Al Taylor; daughter, Melissa Hill; granddaughter, Elise Hill; and many other cherished family members including those of the Lotti, DeFrancisco, Royer, Lucas and Jacobs family.
