Lois A. Reed, 81, Grove City, Ohio, went to fly with the angels on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Lois was born on July 14, 1936 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Wilmar and Lillian Robson. Lois graduated from Columbus South High School in 1955 and shortly thereafter married her childhood sweetheart, Bill Reed. Lois will be remembered for being a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest passion was being surrounded by her family enjoying holidays, birthdays, graduations, weddings, Ohio State football games and numerous vacations. Lois was a stay at home mom while her children were in their early years. While raising her four children, Lois enjoyed volunteering for various organizations including; being a founding member of the Grove City Kids Association, TWIG, Children's Hospital, PTA, and serving as a band chaperone for the Grove City marching band. Later, she entered the real estate business and flourished as a sales agent and broker and was recognized by winning many sales awards for various local real estate firms including; Melvin Gilbert, Shoaf & Shrum, King Thompson, Coldwell Banker and HER as well as her own firm, Reed Realtors and Reed Real Estate Partners. Lois also enjoyed tremendous success in the condominium conversion business, traveling throughout the U.S. coordinating the marketing efforts for American INVESCO and Equity Residential. Lois was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Lois is preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Wilmer, and her husband Bill. She is survived by her children, Greg (Sue), Kathy (Tim), Pam (Dean), Chris and Holly (Gary); grandchildren, Patrick, Sean, Megan, Connor, Blake, Evan, Ryan, Zach, Tyler Erika and Skyler; great grandchildren, Zachary, Hadlee, Matthew, Jackson, Matthew, Owen and Gabriel; brothers Jerry (Anna) and Charlie (Helen). Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 5, at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City. Service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4501 Hoover Road on Tuesday, February 6, at 10 a.m. Rev. Peter I. Ray will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery.
