Lois C. Rowley, 85, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Lanfair Nursing Center. She was born May 7, 1932 in Columbus and was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Margaret T. (Love) Johnson. Lois was member of Faith Memorial Church. She was a retired rural letter carrier and a member of the Rural Letter Carriers and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by three sons, Ronald R. (Sarah) Rowley Jr. of Lancaster, John R. (Karen) Rowley of Coalton and Todd A. (Olivia) Rowley of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Deborah L. (Allen) Guseman of Lancaster and Margaret E. (Rex) Riddle of Amanda; 16 grandchildren, Aaron (Krista) Riddle, Ryan (Kristin) Riddle, Allison (David) Moody, Brooke (Matt) Marshall, Jennifer (Ben) Hackett, Troy (Natalie) Guseman, Ronnie (Trisha) Rowley III, Stacy (Jeremiah) Upp, Alicia (John) Wentz, Seth (Meridith) Rowley, Jared (Olivia) Rowley, Samuel Rowley, Lauren, Sidney, Madison and Ava Rowley; 24 great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger E. Johnson of Delaware, and Dean T. Johnson of Worthington; one sister, Rosemary Shepard of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ray Rowley Sr., granddaughter Jean Marie Rowley, brother Bruce Johnson, sisters Carol Heine and twin sister and best friend Lucille Spring. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Melvin Truex officiating. Burial will follow at Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130 in Lois' memory.
