Madeline M. Kohler, born August 10, 1933 in Gilbert, West Virginia, passed away peacefully with her children by her side and went to be with her Lord on December 23, 2017. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Maude Trent; husband Tom Kohler; and her 11 siblings. Madeline and Tom stood side by side cutting hair for 35 years in their barber shop in Minerva Park in Columbus, Ohio. They loved to travel extensively in the United States and share their experiences with others. Madeline will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Denise (Gary) Yoder of Chambersburg, PA and Saundra Roby of Rockbridge, Ohio; grandchildren, Daniel (Heather) Wiley, Leah (Matt) Weisbecker, Sarah (Jason) Klingerman, and Lydia (Kris) Abdnour; eight great-grandchildren, Isaac & Walker Wiley, Kohl & Trace Weisbecker, and Ella, Justus, Kate, & Solomon Klingerman; brother-in-law Dick (Glennia) Kohler of Marengo, Ohio; and sisters-in-law, Carole Shockley and Sue Conrad both of Columbus, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home at 204 W. Main Street Logan, Ohio 43138, where her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marvin Gassman officiating. She will be laid to rest at Knollwood Cemetery following the service.
