LIFORD-SMITH Marda V. Smith, age 73, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her home with family by her side. Marda was a lifelong member of the Eastwood SDA Church, she was born in Glouster, OH, residing in Columbus since 1943. Marda worked as secretary to the vice president of the Advertising Checking Bureau, after 28 years of service, she retired in 1992. Marda enjoyed life to its fullest and showed kindness to everyone she met, always having a positive outlook on everything. She is preceded in death by husband Robert W. Liford, father Errett Johnson, mother Juanita Johnson, brother Larry Johnson, sister Barbara Quinn, and step-son Arthur Smith, Jr. Survived by husband, Arthur J. Smith; daughter, Tina (Jim) Allen; step-daughters, Wendy (Butch) Crum, Holly and Stacy; grandchildren, Amanda (Lee) Tracy, Ashley (Chris) Bradley, Taylor, Heather, Jeremy, Brandon, Dakota, Summer, Mackenzie; great-grandsons, Lee Tracy, Jr., and Aiden Miller; great-granddaughter, Katie Miller; brothers, Lanny (Chrystal) Johnson, Ronald (Linda) Yorde; brother-in-law, Ebbert Quinn; sisters-in-law, Laura (Joe) Catalano, Cheryl (Ernie) Tuller, Gayle (Wayne) Kaiser; many nieces, nephews, and friends, special longtime friends, Daniel and Lisa Canfield; special childhood friends, Margie Kinkead and Gayle Smith-Kaiser. Very special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who provided outstanding care for Marda. Zangmeister Cancer Center, St. Ann's Cyber Knife, Mt.
