Margaret Luanne Ricks Sibbring was born August 10, 1929 in Pontiac, Michigan to R.M. and Necie Faughn Ricks. She graduated from the Campbell High School, attended the University of Michigan and was a graduate of the University of Missouri. Following her graduation from college she became a member of the Malden High School faculty until becoming the Assistant Director of the Dairy Council of the Greater Kansas City Area where she delivered nutritional programs for schools, hospitals and television. It was in Kansas City, Missouri that she met and married Donald Aubrey Sibbring. Upon moving to Ohio she became Director of the Muskingum Area Council of the Girl Scouts. When her son arrived she became a "stay at home" Mom and later for her daughter. Tennis, golf, bridge, gardening, cooking and especially family was among her loves. She was a Charter Member of Twin Rivers Garden Club and served as Treasurer of Twig 65 of Children's Hospital for many years, a former member of The Country Club at Muirfield Village and York Country Club and was a member of the Flower Guild of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Upper Arlington. She is survived by her husband, Donald A. Sibbring; a son, Kevin Douglas Sibbring (Beth) of Dublin and Lakeside, Ohio; and a daughter, Anne Sibbring Gelin (Roy) of Worthington, Ohio. She had five loving grandchildren, Eric Taylor, Casey Anne and Sean Victor Gelin and Sarah Elizabeth and Laura Anne Sibbring; and a nephew, Dr. Mark Johnson of Bristol, Rhode Island. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 2151 Dorset Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Paul St. Germain officiating. The family invites everyone for sharing and refreshments following the service. A private graveside service for the family at Union Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the , Great Rivers Affiliate, P.O.
