Marjorie Mitchell Arnold Obituary
Arnold Marjorie Mitchell Arnold, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at Friendship Village of Dublin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Drew, and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Drew (Jill) Arnold of Penn Yan, NY; son, David (Susan) Arnold; and daughter, Ann (Steve) Kloss, both of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Marge devoted her life to the happiness and support of her family and brought laughter and joy to everyone she touched. She was active in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, PTA, and the world's best cook and the "Queen of Wheels". During WWII, she worked at Curtiss-Wright supporting Drew through medical school and residency. She and Drew were charter members of the Covenant Presbyterian Church where she was involved with church school and numerous activities. She was involved with the Auxiliiary to the Academy of Medicine. Marge loved playing golf, having picnics at the river feeding ducks, playing cards with the grandkids, the zoo and spending winters at Ft. Myers Beach, FL. She taught us all that the little things in life are what bring you happiness, joy and laughter. The family wishes to extend much appreciation to the caring staff of Friendship Village. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2070 Ridgecliff Rd., Upper Arlington, OH 43221, Rev. Dr. Tracy R. Keenan, officiating.
