Cochrun Martha Joan Cochrun, was born June 25, 1929 one of seven children, and was called by the angels from heaven on July 30 after a beautiful life at the age of 85. She loved out fishing the "boys", was known far and wide for her mashed potatoes and ribs, and enjoyed winning the family competition for best tomatoes. She traveled the world, but loved her flower beds and cutting grass at her home the most. She lived life to the fullest, loved to laugh and was known to do a crazy thing or two to make others. She never knew a stranger and had a big heart (although we all knew it belonged to her beloved Jack Russell, Bobby). She loved her family and was proud to say she was the matriarch of five generations. She enjoyed talking about growing up in a loving home over onion and mustard sandwiches with her sister Nancy. She laughed through her pain with the angel on earth -Debbie Sharp; and adored the time spent with Jerry and Toni Perkins telling jokes. She adored her family and her friends who would be too numerous to count. She is survived by sister, Nancy "Jane" Tumeo; daughter, Judi (Donnie) Pendleton; son, Stan (Maryjane) Reeves; son, Jim Reeves; daughter, Pam Macgregor; grandchildren, Jody Lambert, Brandy Murphy, Kelly Pendleton, Jacque Phillips, Aimee Reeves, Natalie Reeves, Mike Reeves; great grandchildren Kally Markeson, Shawna Lambert, Marissa Lambert, Maddie Pendleton, Noah Klubek, Shiloh Klubek, Morgan Klubek; great great grandson, Silas Markeson V; beloved nieces and nephews (including her favorite; you know who you are). She is preceded in death by her father Raymond Bennett, mother Mary "Betty" Bennett, brother Major Raymond Bennett; sisters Frances "Boots" Bennett, Betty (John) Ewald, Mary (Bill) Flory, and Patricia (Chuck) Perkins; and great-grandson Jack Murphy. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2014, St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Rd., Columbus, OH 43220. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Ohio Health Hospice. Condolences to the family may be sent at www.rutherfordfuneralhome.com.
