Morris Mary A. Morris, age 87, long-time resident of Reynoldsburg, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. Born in Avon Park, Florida, she moved to Reynoldsburg in 1945 after marrying William Nelson Morris. Together they were florists and orchid growers, owning and operating Sunnybrook Gardens and then Orchidglen florist. They were charter members of Messiah Lutheran Church of Reynoldsburg, and Mary was active in Rebecca Circle and the Senior Saints Choir. She was also a member of the Brice Garden Club. In addition to her floral business, Mary was a bus driver for Reynoldsburg City Schools and later for the Reynoldsburg Senior Center. She was preceded in death by Nelson Morris, her husband of 56 years, parents Charles and Lena Mae Clements of Avon Park, Florida, sisters Evelyn (Ike) Hart and Jane (Robert) Hudson, and brother Cecil (Helen) Clements. She is survived by brother, John (Sallie) Clements; her sons, Charles (Connie), Robert (Vicky) and Randy (Shawn); five grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Vanover, Kevin (Sarah) Morris, Emily (Anthony) Servedio, Katharine Morris and Mary (Erik) Turocy; five great-granddaughters, Allison and Haley Vanover, and Samantha, Sydney and Charlotte Morris; and two great-grandsons, Enzo and Maxwell Servedio. Her family will receive friends at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 30. Funeral service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1200 S. Waggoner Road, Reynoldsburg, on Thursday, October 31 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Karl Hanf and Dr. Donald Fritz officiating. Interment at Silent Home Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to donate to the Messiah Lutheran Church organ fund.
