Michael Egnor Obituary
Egnor, Michael
1951 - 2018
Michael C. Egnor, age 66 of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Mike was born in West Hamlin, West Virginia, son of Pastor Clee Egnor and the late Loretta Egnor. Also preceded in death by his brothers, Eric and Don Egnor. Mike graduated from Austintown Fitch High School, Class of 1969 and attended Youngstown State University. Mike worked in the flooring industry and had currently been working for the past 17 years with Rite Rug. Mike had a wicked sense of humor that no one could top. He was ornery, smart, and selfless, always putting others before himself. He was a Cleveland Indians and Buckeye fan, and enjoyed reading, music, and looked forward to sharing and celebrating the 11th of each month with his soul mate. Above all else, Mike truly enjoyed spending time with his entire family. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and loving wife of 17 years, Kathy Egnor; father and step mother, Pastor Clee and Linda Egnor; beloved daughter, Marcie Egnor; sister and brothers-in-law, Patricia (Bob) Barringer, Robby (Judy) McKay, and Steve (Bunny) McKay; and other nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. A service celebrating Mike's life will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday and 12 P.M. until time of service Tuesday. Pastor Clee Egnor and Pastor Kim Stone officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, Wall Street Plaza, 88 Pine St., Suite 2400, New York, New York 10005 or to Amethyst House c/o Alvis, 2100 Stella Ct., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
