Natalie Deane Alexander Fuller, age 61, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017, after a year-long battle with lung cancer. Born on September 22, 1956, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Natalie grew up in South Shore, Kentucky. A graduate of Greenup County High School (1974), and Morehead State University (1978), Natalie accepted a dietetics internship with Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, where she faithfully served as a clinical dietitian and clinical nutrition manager for nearly forty years. She earned a Master's in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Natalie is best known for her warmth and generous hospitality. She made everyone she met feel loved and accepted. She devoted her life to caring for her family and friends. She was a member of Chi Omega and served as a charter board member of the seedling Foundation at Stivers School for the Arts to support arts education for inner-city youth. She was a longtime member of South Shore's First United Methodist Church, Otterbein United Methodist Church (Dayton, Ohio), and North Dayton Baptist Church. Natalie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stephen "Max"; children, Geoffrey "Drew" (Jennifer), Erin Jeffries (Jeff), Justin (Edlín), Ben (Elizabeth), and Farrah Sizemore (Chris); grandchildren, Bear, Kingsley, Elise, Teddy, Cecilia, and Vivienne; sister, Donna Alexander Lander (Jim); brother, Jack Craycraft (Phyllis); beloved cousin, Mark Steve Newman; special niece, Sarah Fuller, who cared for Natalie in her final days; nieces and nephews, Sean McCarty, Jonathan Fuller, Lisa Halstead, Natalie Coburn, Jackie Craycraft, and Noah and Sophia Fuller; Godson and nephew JR Lander; dear aunts, Wanda Alexander Wells and Darlene Alexander King; many first cousins; and special friends, Mitzi Stuckey and Debbie Thompson. Natalie is preceded in death by her parents Henry "Hank" and Juanita Williams Alexander, granddaughters Claire and Eleanor Fuller and beloved friend Justina Rice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LUNGevity Foundation (www.lungevity.org) and Pelotonia (www.pelotonia.org). A Celebration of Life Gathering and Dinner will be held on Sunday, November 5, at 2 p.m. at Celebrations II Banquet Center, 7615 Poe Avenue, Vandalia, Ohio.
