Wright Norma "Gerry" Geraldine Wright of Bexley, OH went to be with her Lord April 18, 2013 at the age of 84. Gerry attended the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa where she was their first ever female law student, but then she met the love of her life, James Roscoe Wright. They moved to Columbus, OH where she later graduated from The Ohio State University. She attended the Grace Brethren Church of Columbus since its inception. She was a life-long conservative and was active in the "Dixie" Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Gerry also served as Regent and, for over 25 years, Chaplain of the Franklinton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Roscoe; daughter, Shannon (Dave) Baker of Bexley; son, James R. (Lynn) Wright, Jr., MD, PhD of Calgary (Canada); granddaughter, Emily Rose Wright of Denver; grandson, David James Baker of Bexley; and step-grandson, Jason Wright (Angie, Julian, Adrian). Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, April 22, at O.R. WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 2300 E. Livingston Ave., Bexley where services will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jim Custer is officiating.
