Armentrout Oscar Junior "Ted" Armentrout, age 73, of Shippenville, PA, died on March 14 at the Clarion Hospital. Born on October 21, 1939 in Grove City OH, he was the son of Edith Armentrout, who preceded him in death. After graduating from high school and a brief period of service in the United States Army, he worked as a truck driver. He retired from Roadway Express. Ted is survived by his soul mate, the former Vickie Sanders. They were married for 21 happy years. He is also survived by his son, Jeffrey Armentrout and his wife, Penny of Indiana state; his daughter, Kelly Jackson and her husband, Richard of Florida; and five grandchildren. Ted's dogs Levi and Lexie will miss him very much. In addition to his mother, Ted was preceded in death by his mother- and father-in-law John and Norma Sanders and his brother-in-law Bruce Sanders. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
