Patricia A. Koblitz Obituary
Koblitz (Sprouse) Patricia A. Koblitz, our beloved mother, wife and friend was released into the heavenly embrace of our savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Pat was our love, life and joy! She never met a stranger and would illuminate a room with her smile, her playful spirit and young-at-heart nature. Born to Angie and Thomas Horn on November 13, 1930, Pat follows into rest her parents, sister Marilyn (Bob) Hucko and brothers, Dick and Phillip Horn, first husband Robert Sprouse and beloved members of the Sprouse family; Ann, Keeley and Ann Ellen (Mickey) Schneider, and nephews John and Andrew Schneider. Pat is survived by loving husband, Victor E. Koblitz; children, Keel (Patti) Sprouse, James (Marlo) Sprouse, Barbara (Terry Carpenter) Varga, and Karen (David) Anderson; grandchildren, Logan Sluder and Christopher and Bo Anderson; Vic's children, Vic Koblitz, Jr., Craig (Francy) Koblitz, Keith (Jan) Koblitz, Paula Hare and their children and grandchildren. Aunt Pat was adored by Kirk (Kathy) Schneider, Maryann (Randy) Eaton, Laura Jones and Sharon Hucko. As well, Pat was a cherished friend to Tami Massaro, Rita Gaulke and Maria Capoccia, who were more like sisters than friends. Our mom touched the lives of many others who treasured this sweetheart of a woman. After raising her four children, Pat worked for MK Baby, Michael's Kidstuff and School Days Uniforms where she eventually retired at 81. Pat loved to work in the garden, spend time with her loved ones and travel around. The family extends a very special note of gratitude to our dear friends, Lynn Guarasci, Ruth Joseph, Jan Leonard, Linda Rightor, Mickey and Jimmy Shaw, and Donna and Ron Lash for their abundant love and support. We also want to acknowledge the compassionate care demonstrated by the team led by Dr. Christine Hudak at the Kobacker House during our mom's transition. Thank you all so very much. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a memorial service celebrating Pat's life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House, c/o OhioHealth Foundation, P.O. Box 600001, Columbus, Ohio 43272-9802. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.schoedinger.com.
