COLOPY Paz C. Colopy, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Pickering House, Lancaster. She was born on November 16, 1941 in Cebu, Philippines to the late Andres and Librada (Pilapil) Canete. Paz was a clerk for the National City Bank, Columbus. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking and singing Karaoke. Paz is survived by her children, Benjie (Storie) Colopy, Leizel (Dustin) Netral, Edna (Joe) Ogg; step-children, Cheryl (Rick) Strouth, Chad (Karen) Colopy, Carla (Charles) Mandeville, Curt (Kim) Colopy, Crista (Dave) Nelson, Connie (Jim) Cooper, Chet (Molly) Colopy, Cort (Misty) Colopy; 28 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; companion, Robert Hunter. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Colopy, and her parents. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster, where a vigil service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday October 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Thomas Kessler and Fr. Homer Blueball as Co-Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
