Press Pearson Sylvan Press, age 86, passed away on July 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Thea (Monheit) Press. He was a graduate of the OSU College of Pharmacy. He is survived by daughters, Karan (Paul) Tanenbaum and Rochell (David) Weisfogel; grandchildren, Mindy (Matt) Cooper, Deena Tanenbaum, Joy Tanenbaum, Rebecca (Natan) Fink, Miriam (Dovie) Becker, Ari (Dvora) Weisfogel and Leah (Natan) Starkman; and great grandchildren, Yitzy, Tuvy, Kayla, Eli, Ava, Tzviki, Temima, Yaakov Aryeh, Yosef Aaron. Funeral service 10:30 on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at CONGREGATION AHAVAS SHOLOM, 2568 E. Broad St. with Rabbi Chaim Yosef Ackerman officiating. Burial to follow at New Ahavas Sholom Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the Press residence nightly until 9 p.m. and until 2 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions are preferred to Columbus Torah Academy, Congregation Ahavas Sholom or Congregation Torat Emet.
