ERWIN Rhonda Paulette Abdon Erwin, age 55, passed away on October 3, 2012. Graduated from South High School, Class of '74 and Columbus State. Retired from Columbus Public Schools after 27 years. A devoted Christian, Minister, ordained Deacon; and member of both Brookwood Presbyterian and Abundant Life Apostolic Church. She is preceded in death by parents Paul and Goldie Abdon and brother James S. Abdon. Rhonda "Love Bug" is survived by husband, Eugene "Smoochiepoo" Erwin, married on June 17, 2010; son, Jason Dodson; grandsons, Jason Jr., and Carter Dodson; sister, Cheryl S. (Gene) Wolford; brother, Damon (Helen) Abdon; niece, Brandy (Jimmy) Dommer; sisters-in-law, Carol (Bill) Martin, Sandy Freed, Mary Manter; brother-in-law, Billy Freed; special dear friends, Mara Saunders, Jennifer Angelcyk, Chris Griffith-Prince, Linda Erwin. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 South High St., where service will be on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor J. Stierhoff and Pastor Birkner officiating.
