Kramer Robert A. Kramer, 87, of Canal Winchester, died on Friday, May 03, 2013 in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Born to the late Arthur and Marie Kramer, Robert fought in the Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and POW Medals. After the war, Robert graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Robert was active in the 100th Division Association and the American Ex-Prisoners of War. He was a supporter of Motts Military Museum and the Salvation Army. Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Kramer; children, Robert A. (Nancy L.) Kramer II of Germany, Rosanne Sallee of Tracy, CA, John J. (Sherri J.) Kramer of West Jefferson, and Richard A. (Linda S.) Kramer of Gahanna; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Joanna G. Kramer. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ellen Kramer. Friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
