Obituary Condolences

Taylor Robert L. "Bob" Taylor, 86, formerly of Hilliard and Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 in Bethany Village, Centerville. He was born in Logan County, Ohio on December 8, 1930, the son of the late Robert and Ethel Mary (Jenkins) Taylor. He is preceded in death by his first wife Delores A. (Mathewson) Taylor and three sisters Elva Fullerton, Jane "Betty" Elizabeth, and Harriett Smith. He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Meade) Foulk Taylor; his daughter, Terry (David) Camelford of Powell, OH; and a son, Robert (Jennifer) Taylor, Jr. of Sacremento, CA; and four step-children, Rick Foulk of Centerville, OH, Virginia (Dr. Rev. John) Cairns of Hamilton, NJ, Mark (Lynn) Foulk of Westerville, OH and Scott (Nicole) Foulk of Centerville, OH; and three grandchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a 1948 graduate of Huntsville High School. He worked for Ohio Bell (later AT&T) for many years, retiring as a Manager of the Communication Center in Columbus. He was a member of the Pioneers of Ohio Bell. Dr. Rev. John Cairns will officiate a funeral service on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the EICHHOLTZ DARING & SANFORD FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTER, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada with military honors provided by the AmVets #1994 Honor Guard from Kenton, Ohio.
