Smallwood Robert Lowell Smallwood, 63, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 7, 1949 to the late Keith Smallwood and Phyllis Sapp. Robert served honorably in the United States Army as a Demolitions Specialist during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for the Kroger Company for 20+ years. Bob loved fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barbara White Smallwood; son, Robert (Lauri) and their children, Sidney and Grayson; daughter, Carol and her son, Aidan; daughter, Bobbi and her children, Cheri, Alinna, Gypsi and Jamie; daughter, Abby Lorane; his brother and friend, Gary (Margaret); sister, Linda Smallwood; and other brothers and sisters; and three great-grandchildren. An inurnment service with military honors will be held at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, 5802 Elder Rd., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
