Seamon "Sam" Watts, of Groveport, passed away peacefully surrounded by family February 3, 2018. Sam was born June 6, 1931, in Harts, West Virginia. He retired from Kroger Bakery after 34 1/2 years. Sam also was in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1956 and served as a Staff Sergeant and Marksman in the Korean War. Sam leaves a legacy of a strong and loving family. His sacrifices gave many family and friends opportunities for a better life. Preceded in death by his wife of 53 1/2 years Donna (Goodman) Watts, parents Willie and Rachel Watts, brother Sherley Watts, sister Neavel (James) Stephenson, brother Kyle Watts, brother Emmett Watts, sister-in-law Crystal (Fred) Koehler and brother-in-law James Lee Goodman. Sam is survived by sister, Crystal (Harold) Cook; daughter, Brenda Watts and son-in-law, Carlos Sang; son, Jeffery Watts; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Iman, Scott (Nikki) Bailey, Faythe Peelle, Addie Peelle; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Gavin, and Liam Bailey; ex-son-in-law, Derek Peelle; a large extended family and many dear friends. Per Sam's wishes, A CELEBRATION OF SAM'S LIFE will be an OPEN HOUSE held Saturday March 17, 2018 from Noon-6pm at Sam's home.
