Shannon Fox Obituary

FOX Shannon Elizabeth Fox, 24, of Hilliard, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, February 20, 2010. She was born June 18, 1985 in Columbus, OH. Shannon was 2003 graduate of Fairbanks High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Otterbein University in 2007 and was currently working towards her Master Degree from the University of Dayton at Capitol University. She enjoyed traveling and animals, especially her dog, Bowser. Shannon was a kind and caring person. In 2007, she helped care for her mother, Teresa (Threlkeld) Fox, who was diagnosed with cancer and passed on April 21, 2009. She will be sadly missed by her family; father, William Kenneth Fox; grandparents, Bill and Betsy Fox, Larry and Bonnie Threlkeld and Nancy (Everetts) Wells; brother, James (Amie) Fox; sister, Amanda (Dale) Ward; her nephews, Jimmy and Memphis Ward; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Visitaion will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, in the funeral home. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions may be made to the funeral home (Vernon Funeral Homes Inc., 257 W. Main St., Mechanicsburg, OH 43044) to help offset funeral expenses.
