Sharon Mae Slater, 76, of Plain City, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. Born June 21, 1941 in Chickasaw County, Iowa to the late Milton and Lorraine (Kist) Hartson. Sharon was a member of the New California Presbyterian Church and a retired cashier from Dublin Kroger. She and her husband, enjoyed square dancing, volunteering at church and bowling, together. Sharon was a skilled seamstress who enjoyed knitting, crocheting and all types of sewing. She loved nature, flower gardening, growing and canning her own fruits and vegetables, and bird watching. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband W. Dewey Slater in 2004, 4 sisters and a brother. Sharon is survived by her children, Aimee (Adrian Cantu) Slater-West of Port Clinton, Frank William (Pamela) Slater of Plain City, Katy (Joe) Antol of Grove City; grandchildren, Aidan West, Jasper Antol, Daniel Wm. Slater, Holden Antol; brother, Eugene Hartson; sister, Carole Clarin; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She and her Lemon Meringue Pie, will be dearly missed by many friends and neighbors. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at New California Presbyterian Church, 10089 Industrial Parkway, Marysville, Ohio 43040.
