Shelia Turn Obituary
Turn, Shelia
With great sadness, the family of Shelia Jean (Curry) Turn of Union Furnace, Ohio announces her sudden and unexpected passing on her 68th birthday, January 17, 2018. Shelia was born in Logan, West Virginia to Rev. Charles and Jean Curry. She will be forever in the heart of her best friend and love of her life, Paul Turn, her husband of 48 beautiful years. Shelia will also be missed forever by her only child, Amy (Joe) Sharp who was keenly aware that her mother was in fact an angel on earth before her transition to an eternal angel. She will also be remembered and loved by her grandchildren, Finn, Blaise and Scout Sharp; her brothers, Larry (Elena) Curry of Jacksonville, Florida and Randy (Alice) Curry of Charleston, West Virginia; and by an enormous circle of family and friends. Shelia was employed at Sojourners Care Network in McArthur, Ohio for 14 years and was an active member of the Faith Journey Ministries in Union Furnace, Ohio. She spent her life in service and has made a tremendous impact on hundreds of foster children and most everyone she has ever met. She would have liked everyone to remember the magic of life and to live life in joy. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Phil Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio. Calling hours will be observed Friday, January 26, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Shelia to Sojourners Care Network at 605 West Main Street, McArthur, Ohio 45651.
