GROVER (Chalfant) Tamara "Tami" Rene Grover (Chalfant), of Columbus, Ohio, born May 26, 1967 died unexpectedly at home on December 27, 2012. Tami was preceded in death by: Grandfather, Robert Parker, grandmother Jeanne Herritt, and best friend, Loreen. Tami is survived, remembered, and cherished by: Husband of 18 years, Charles Howard Grover III, sons Gunner, Grant, Charlie, and Dylan Grover, grandson Rowen Grover, parents Thomas Paul Chalfant and Deborah Parker Chalfant, brother, Thomas Scott Chalfant, sister Kaylin Parker Frost, Grandmother Jean Parker, father and mother-in-law Richard and Yvonne Grover, sisters-in-law Jamie and Crystal Grover, brothers-in-law Dave and Steve Grover, aunts uncles, nieces nephews, cousins, and many friends. Tami graduated from Whetstone High School and managed a busy household (husband, four boys, and pets). Tami was an O.S.U. Buckeye fan, an avid reader, enjoyed and was good at math, puzzles, scrabble, euchre, and poker. She had a good quick mind. Tami also had a kind heart and she enjoyed getting together with family and friends. She lived her life with strength, perseverance, and forgiveness. Tami loved her boys fiercely and unconditionally. She was excited about being a grandma to her first grandbaby. She also loved her kitties. Tami was looking forward to her annual birthday trip to Florida to visit with her grandma, and the ""no worries"" peaceful serenity of the warm gulf breezes and the inspiring water view. Funeral Service to be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. After the service, we will be celebrating Tami's life with friends and family at 2942 Hayden Run Road, Hayden Run Plaza, 43235.
